Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Valfiguer Studio, a free, local-first visual editor operated by Valfiguer. By using Studio, you agree to them.
1. The service
Valfiguer Studio is a browser-based visual editor for images, layers, and layouts. Editing runs on your device; your designs are stored locally in your browser and are not uploaded during ordinary editing.
2. Your free account
Creating and opening designs requires a free account. Signing in creates that account — sign-in and sign-up are the same step. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email you provide and for activity under your account.
3. Sign-in and authentication
Sign-in is handled by Valfiguer's authentication service using a session cookie scoped to valfiguer.com. You may sign in with Google, GitHub, or a one-time email code. You must not attempt to access accounts that are not yours.
4. Your content is yours
You retain all rights to the designs, text, images, and other content you create or import. Valfiguer claims no ownership of your content and does not license it for its own use. Because editing is local-first, your content generally never leaves your device during ordinary editing.
5. Exports
You may export your designs and use them for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. Exports never contain a watermark and are not subject to export limits imposed by a subscription.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Studio to create or distribute unlawful content, to infringe others' intellectual-property rights, or to interfere with the service or its authentication systems. You are solely responsible for the content you create and how you use your exports.
7. Local storage and availability
Designs are stored in your browser using IndexedDB. Clearing browser data, using private/incognito sessions, or switching browsers or devices may remove access to locally stored projects. Export important work to keep your own copy. The service is provided on an "as available" basis and may change or be interrupted.
8. No warranty
Studio is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use the editor and rely on locally stored work at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valfiguer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or designs stored locally in your browser.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Studio evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
